Active Ingredient: Albendazole and Ivermectin
Description: White or off-white color tablet
Pharmacodynamics: Antiparasitic drug Abendazole is a wide-spectrum of anthelmintic drugs against nematodes, tapeworm, and fluke. The mechanism is through binding of the parasitic tubulin with abendazole and abort the process of tubulin binding toα-tubulin to form microtubules so as to affecting mitosis and the metabolism of the parasite. Ivermectin is effective to ectoparasites especially to arthropod insects and nematode which mainly used in porcine gastro-intestinal nematode, lung nematodes, and ectoparasites. The mechanism is through inducing γ-GABA from presynaptic neurons and open a chloride tunnel and increase membrane permeability causing hyperpolarization to nerve or muscle cells interfering signal transduction. The Parasite will be paralyzed, and then die and be excreted.
Indications: To exterminate cattle and sheep’s endoparasite and ectoparasite, e.g. gastro-intestinal nematode, tapeworm, fluke, acariasis, etc.
Administration and Dosage: Oral. Cattle and sheep: 0.3mg/Kg body weight
Adverse reaction: No adverse reaction caused by recommend dosage.
Precautions: Ivermectin is deadly to shrimp and fish. Discard the residual, packaging and animals’ excreta in a secure manner to avoid fouling water source.
Withdrawal Time: Cattle and sheep: 35days. Do not use in lactating animals.
