Metronidazole Tablets For Pet (Vet Prescription Medicine)

Active Ingredient: Metronidazole

Description: White or similar white tablet

Indications: Anti-protozoal drugs. Treatment for giardiasis , protozoal intestinal diseases, and anaerobic bacteria infection in dogs.

Administration and Dosage: Base on Metronidazole, Oral, 25mg of Metronidazole/kg body weight or follow the veterinarian’s instruction. 

Adverse reactions:

No adverse reaction was found under recommend dosage.

Precaution: 

1. This product is less toxicity, its metabolites often make the urine red brown. High dosage may cause inflammation of tongue, inflammation of stomach, nausea, vomit, leukocyte reduction and even neurological symptoms.  Most of them are tolerable.  

2. As the drug can pass through the placenta and mammary gland.  It’s not suitable to use for lactating and pregnant animals.

Withdrawal Time: No need.
